Designed around simplicity, comfort, and function, the bedroom suite makes the most of its compact footprint.

Inspired by the simplicity and warmth of Japandi themed interiors, this bedroom suite uses natural materials, soft tones, warm lighting, and clean forms to create a calm and comfortable space. The design focuses on keeping the room open and uncluttered while still making space for everything needed in a complete bedroom suite.

The main challenge was fitting a full bathroom, a large closet, and a queen-size bed into a limited space without making the room feel cramped. The layout was carefully planned to give each element its own place while keeping movement through the room easy and natural. Built-in storage and a combined dressing area help make the most of the available space without adding visual clutter.

A connection to the courtyard

An additional feature of the suite is its direct connection to a private green courtyard. The bedroom opens towards the courtyard, bringing greenery and natural light into the space and adding a sense of openness. This connection gives the compact bedroom a quieter, more spacious feel while creating a simple link between the interior and outdoors.

Light & Atmosphere

The lighting was designed to add warmth and character to the bedroom without overwhelming the space. The hanging lights are custom-made using rattan and wood.

The weave creates a gentle pattern of light and shadow, adding depth to the walls and making the room feel more intimate in the evening. The warm lighting works alongside the neutral colours and natural materials to create a relaxed, comfortable mood.
